တနေ့က xAi ကို စတင်မိတ်ဆက်တာကို တွေ့လိုက်တယ်။ အဲမှာပါဝင်ကြတဲ့ သူတွေအကြောင်းကို သွားလေ့လာကြည့်မိတယ်။ အဲလို့ကြည့်မိနေတုန် စိတ်ထဲမှာ “သူတို့ တွေက ဘာလို့ အရမ်းတော်ကြတာလဲ။” ပြီးတော့ “သူတို့တွေ အဲလို ဖြစ်လာအောင် သူတို့လုပ်ကြတာလဲ“ စတဲ့ စတဲ အတွေးတွေ ခေါင်မှာပေါ်လာတယ်။

အဲဒါနဲ့ ဒီနေ့ တိုက်တိုက်ဆိုင်ဆိုင် “You and your research” ဆိုတဲ့ talk လေကို သွားနားထောင်မိတယ်။ Talk ပြောသူက computer science လောကမှာ နာမည်ကြီးတဲ့ ပုဂ္ဂိုလ်တစ်ယောက်ဖြစ်တဲ့ Richard Hamming ပါ။ သူကိုတော့ hamming window ဆိုတဲ့ ခေါင်စဥ်နဲ့ လူတော်တော်များများက သိကြပါတယ်။ စိတ်ဝင်စားသူများ ကြည့်လို့ရအောင်လို့ အောက်မှာ link ကို ချပေးထားပါတယ်။

သူကိုယ်တိုင်းကလည်း အခုနကလိုမျိုး မေးခွန်းတွေကို သူကိုယ်သူ မေးနေခဲ့တာကို talk မှာ ပြောတာ တွေ့လိုက်ရတယ်။ talk မှာပြောထားတဲ့ အရာကို transcript အနေလုပ်ထားပါတယ်။ ဖတ်ချင်ရင် reference မှာ ပေးထားတဲ့ link က နေ ဖတ်နိုင်ကြပါတယ်။

ဒီမှာတော့ သူပြောထားတဲ့ အချက်တွေ တစ်ချို့ကို ထုတ်နှုတ်ပြီး ပြန်ပြောပါလိုက်ပါတယ်။

နောက်တစ်ခုက ကိုယ့်စိတ်ဝင်စားတာနယ်ပယ်ကို သတ္တိရှိရှိ တစ်စိုက်မတ်မတ်လေ့လာကြတာကိုပါ။

One of the characteristics you see, and many people have it including great scientists, is that usually when they were young they had independent thoughts and had the courage to pursue them.

တစ်ခုခုကို မလုပ်နိုင်ရင်လည်း ဘာကြောင့်လဲဆိုတာမျိုးကို တွေးတော်အဖြေးရှာကြတာများတယ်။

One of the characteristics of successful scientists is having courage. Once you get your courage up and believe that you can do important problems, then you can. Many scientists when they found they couldn’t do a problem finally began to study why not.

ပြောထားတဲ့ အထဲမှာ အကြိုက်ဆုံးကတော့ အောက်က စာပိုဒ်ပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Bode said this: “Knowledge and productivity are like compound interest.” Given two people of approximately the same ability and one person who works ten percent more than the other, the latter will more than twice out produce the former. The more you know, the more you learn; the more you learn, the more you can do; the more you can do, the more the opportunity - it is very much like compound interest.
